Weekly Overview January 30-February 3

Report Cards will be sent home on Wednesday, February 1.  Please review and contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

This week is another 4-day workweek for the students.  Persuasive Essays are due, in published form, by Monday, February 6.  Please see the Rubrics tab for grading information.  In addition to producing a 5-paragraph essay, students will be required to read their essays aloud to the class (Speaking skill) and Summarizing a fellow classmate’s essay (Listening skill).  We will begin this next week.

Please remember that Room 304 will attend a Field Trip on Wednesday, February 8.  We will be going to the Hyde Park Art museum to work with Meredith, our Artist-In-Residence at Ray school.  We will leave after lunch, at 12:30, and return by 2:30 pm.  Please email me if you have any interest in attending this field trip with us.
