Reading- Besides our weekly work in Reader’s Workshop, students will finish reading a non-fiction narrative about the use of earbuds and hearing loss. They will answer close-reading questions, drawing details from the text and look for central ideas in the text. Students will also meet in their Guided Reading groups this week and complete reading skills/strategies.
Writing- Students will begin prewriting for fiction narratives. We will then identify story elements in class, and students will identify the story elements in their IR books.
Math- This week we will continue Unit 12: Probability. Students will work on lessons 12.6-12.9. The nit 12 test is scheduled for next Monday, June 2.
