The first field trip to the SmART museum is next Wednesday, April 2.  Thank you to Siddhartha’s mom for volunteering for this field trip.  We still need parent chaperones for the other dates.  They are:  4/23, 5/7, and 5/21 from 10:15-12:15.

FYI:  Students with ongoing negative behavior will not be asked on these field trips.  Instead, complimentary work will be left for students to complete.

I will be sending home a field trip permission slip form this week.  This trip will be a 8-part series where we will collaborate with artists both at the SmART Museum and at Ray to learn about artistic elements and incorporate narrative writing with art.  The dates for the four  field trip we will take, all walking trips to the SmART museum, are 4/2, 4/23, 5/7, and 5/21 from 10:15-12:15.  If you can chaperone for one of these days please contact me via email.  I need at least one parent per trip.
